Mindfulness is the awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment with an open and non judgmental attitude. Meditation isn’t about becoming a different person, fixing yourself or even changing yourself. It’s an invitation to bring awareness to your state of being in the present moment and offer yourself loving-kindness, compassion and resting in what is alive for you without judgement.
Mindful Mondays is a class I created to truly connect with oneself. The class consists of journal prompts, gentle movement and a guided meditation. If you’re interested, go to my library to try out a recorded class.
I also offer a 30 minute class through Pause meditation studio based in PDX, Oregon. I would be honored if you joined our community there as well.
